Tiger--you have helped me many a time on techno queries, especially back in my beginning, in the predawn of the modern, newcomer loaded forum (that is, six months ago), and I just wanted to say thanks.

You aren't the best at what you do, you are the only one that does what you do (meant in a very good way).

Thanks again.

This stuff has been completely eye-opening for me. I've been listening to all eras of the Dead for about 20 years, had a fairly large tape collection, but had very little of Jerry outside of the Dead - just the albums, one or two Legion of Mary and Reconstruction shows, a few Garcia and Kahn shows from the early and mid 80s and a few mostly bad-sounding audience recordings of the JGB from the late 80s. It seemed like there was very little of this stuff available.

It is amazing to hear these great recordings of songs I knew only from albums or from much later performances. To hear Jerry sing these songs before his voice started to really deteriorate is priceless. I can't wait to get home and download this.
